Human Studies Project
This project is supported by Uganda Humanist Schools Trust in collaboration with the Organisation for Humanist Schools of Uganda. It has been established to promote collaboration among teachers in the Humanist Schools in Uganda and to foster and share a common Humanist perspective in teaching. A wealth of useful material, created by individuals and groups around the world, already exists. Our aim is to select and bring together those that support the developing Humanist Ethos of the schools. We are looking for materials that promote active engagement and learning and which enrich understanding of important issues, both local and global. We want the Human Studies Resource Bank to contain teacher and student-friendly materials on subjects that matter and which create a buzz among young people. Our aim is to foster the desire to work with others to secure a positive future for young people themselves, for their communities and for the whole of humankind.
